ABOUT PAWS IN THE PARK
This is the second year for this particular event. The Paws in the Park program is an opportunity for Rocky Mount area residents to promote responsible dog ownership and healthy pets. Paws in the Park will be an extremely unique event for this area and a fun event for all. Activities will include pet parade, pet look alike, best dress, best trick, and of course, the best beggar contest. There will be various activities being held.

As our committee works diligently each day to encompass other area organizations, we know we will see the attendance increase each year. This year’s event is being organized by the City of Rocky Mount Parks and Recreation Department. The event will be held on Saturday, April 14, 2012 from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm at Sunset Park, in Rocky Mount, North Carolina.

Help assist the community in creating a new and fun event, pet awareness and possible pet adoption here in Eastern North Carolina!

 SPONSORSHIP
We are asking your organization/company to become a sponsor. By becoming a sponsor, your company/organization will receive high visibility in the community, on the City website and TV19. There are many advertising opportunities which are outlined on our sponsorship forms as we seek to make our park event a premier regional event with plenty of family and pet fun.

 VENDORS
We plan to make our park event a premier regional event with plenty of family and pet fun. Be part of this first time event wherein the community is creating a new event and fun event, pet awareness and possible pet adoption.

There is also an opportunity for those who would not necessarily like to be a vendor or sponsor but would like to help support the Paws in the Park event. By becoming a contributor of at least $25, your name will be added on the Paws in the Park program as a friend.  VOLUNTEERS
This is the second year for the Paws in the Park event for Rocky Mount and area citizens. Anyone interested in becoming a volunteer will need to fill out the Volunteer Registration Form below.
