To ensure efficient response and service, customers are reminded to pay close attention to new prompts when utilizing the city of Rocky Mount’s call center numbers at 972-1250 and 467-4800. The new prompts are as follows:

  • To reach a utility dispatcher for utility emergencies, press 1, 2 or 4
  • To reach Customer Service for billing inquiries, press 3
  • For inspections, press 5
  • For Streets and Stormwater, press 6
  • For Environmental Services (e.g. trash pickup), press 7
  • For Community Code, press 8
